______
The Mozart family near the Loing. outdoor show. Having left on the evening of the 9th July 1766 from Paris for Dijon, the Mozarts find themselves at the Relais de Fontenay the following day. The driver chose the « Grand Chemin » as opposed to the « Chemin de Paris en Bourgogne » because of the stellar reputation held by the relays run by the Petit dynasty, whose relays included the one of the « Grand Chemin » from Fontenay to La Bussière, but also without a doubt for another reason.
